Rules of Competition

TLAC have adopted the Competition Rules of the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF).

If you are interested in learning more about officiating, please contact the centre secretary.

Spikes

Spike shoes will only be permitted to be worn in the events listed in the following table:

All events run entirely in lanes

Starts & Starting Blocks

All athletes can perform a standing start for all track events, from U6 - U16.

U11–U16 athletes may use starting blocks if performing a crouch start.

The Centre has starting blocks available.
