The Rules and Regulations of Competition can be found on LAVic website.

TLAC have adopted the Competition Rules of the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF).

If you are interested in learning more about officiating, please contact the centre secretary.

Spike shoes will only be permitted to be worn in the events listed in the following table:

U11, U12	All events run entirely in lanes	All jump events & Javelin	All events	No spike shoes allowed	No spike shoes allowed
U13 - U17	All events except Race Walks	All jump events & Javelin	All events	No spike shoes allowed	No spike shoes allowed

All athletes can perform a standing start for all track events, from U6 - U17.

U11–U17 athletes may use starting blocks if performing a crouch start.

The Centre has starting blocks available.
